vaadin-xs and wrong css styles

When using vaadin-xs plugin I've noticed that page renders incorrectly (wrong font sizes, wrong input sizes) without specifying correct doctype to the html page.

The magic is to add
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">

at the beginning of the html page. Thanks to this

ubuntu network with p8p67 motherboard (rtl8111e LAN)

Got new motherboard: asus p8p67 with realtek 8111e Gigabit LAN controller. On ubuntu the network works ugly - sometimes it doesn't connect to google and some other sites.

The problem is that ubuntu loads wrong driver for the network - r8169 instead of r8168. The solution is to download correct driver from realtek website and use it.

javafx listview sometimes doesn't catch clicks

I had this form:

    def viewerWrapper = Group {
                content: [
                    viewerScroll,
                    contents
                ]
            }
    def viewerContent = [
                viewerWrapper,
                ... //other components

contents is VBox holding ListView.

In this configuration contents sometimes didn't catch mouse clicks. You had to click twice.

The solution is to move contents up from the Group:

    def viewerWrapper = Group {
                content: [
                    viewerScroll,
                ]
            }
    def viewerContent = [
                viewerWrapper,
                contents
                ... //other components

this will work perfectly

xshelfview in JFXtras-0.7rc2 and title changing

xshelfview has a bug - the title doesn't change while scrolling images. The workaround is to use your own label to display title:

var shelf : XShelfView = XShelfView {
   showText: false,
   ...
}
var title : Label = Label {
   text: bind shelf.imageNames[shelf.index] as String
   font: Font.font("SansSerif", FontWeight.BOLD, 14);
   effect: DropShadow {color: Color.WHITE, radius: 5, blurType: BlurType.ONE_PASS_BOX}
}

this label has the same style as original label. The only thing left is to place label into right place.
